Huetype is operated by an individual based in Australia and is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

What We Collect

We collect the following information:

  • Quiz answers: Your responses to the 25 scenario questions. These are used solely to generate your personality report.
  • Email address: Collected at the time of payment, used to deliver your report PDF and for no other purpose.
  • Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics via PostHog to understand how people use the product (page views, quiz completion rates). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

  • Generate and deliver your personality report
  • Send your PDF report via email
  • Improve the quiz and report quality

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except the processors listed below who help us operate the service.

Data Retention

Your quiz answers, scores, and report content are stored indefinitely so you can access your report at any time via your original link.

Your email address is stored only as long as needed to deliver your report.

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information

Cookies

We use essential cookies only:

  • A session cookie to track your quiz progress
  • An owner cookie to remember that you purchased your report (so your download button appears on return visits)

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
